With a look that’s contemporary and stylish yet with a touch of tradition, Pleated blinds are a sleek, streamlined option for a range of rooms in your home and we think this new addition in Ridge Ochre will become a popular choice. It takes the traditional pleated blind look and brings it into the printed fabric world, with a curved geometric pattern that’s repeated in columns over the blind. A colourway of rich ochre forms the background to this blind, with the jacquard pattern appearing in a muted gold that becomes quite vibrant when it catches the light. A lovely faux lux look that’s particularly good for living rooms, dining rooms or extended spaces with large expanses of glass where this striking blind, part of our House Beautiful collection, can really shine.

Cleaning Tips

Keep your Pleated blinds looking bright and fresh by using a clean, dry duster or the upholstery brush attachment on your vacuum. To avoid wrinkling or ripping the fabric, be careful not to press against the pleats too hard. If there is a little more than dust to contend with use a damp sponge dipped in lukewarm water to wipe across the pleats. Make sure the sponge ist only damp not wet and work from the top down. It's best not to use fabric conditioner on your blinds as the material can stain. Tougher marks can be removed with a specialist fabric stain remover or spray foam but please follow the manufacturer’s instructions closely, and test a small, inconspicuous area first if in doubt.

Child Safety

At Hillarys we do everything we can to make sure our products are safe for children. As a minimum, all of our blinds meet the European Standard BS EN 13120 for both performance and safety. Beyond this, safety is at the forefront of our minds right through the design process as we strive to make products that are not only stylish and high-quality, but also safe. As all our Pleated blinds are pull-cord operated, your Hillarys advisor will install a discreet little cleat or hook for the cord to wrap around, so there are no loose strings. These are fitted at a minimum height of 1.5m above the ground.
